Error Management Climate and Job Stress in Project-Based Organizations: An Empirical Evidence from Pakistani Aircraft Manufacturing Industry

Drawing on the JD-R model, this study examines influence of error management climate (EMC) job stress frontline aeronautical employees. It also analyzes moderating role psychological capital (PsyCap) dimensions (i.e., hope, optimism, self-efficacy, and resilience) for relationship between stress. The data was collected from 208 individuals through a questionnaire survey analyzed using partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) approach. results revealed that employees’ perceptions have significant negative impact PsyCap optimism self-efficacy were found to EMC other two hope resilience in same direction as expected, but not at statistically levels. findings provide unique perspective realizing part national organizational cultures could play either enhancing or attenuating an individual’s resources such capital.
